Support Delvefall
Delvefall is free, has no ads, and does not want an account from you. That is not going to change. This page exists in case you have got something out of the site and wondered whether you could put something back.
What it costs
Running the site comes to about £10 a month. That is the Postgres database the card vectors live in, and the domain. The daily update pipeline runs on GitHub Actions, which is free at this size, and the language model only ever runs inside that pipeline, so there is no expensive server sitting there waiting for a search.
It is a small number on purpose. This is a side project, not a business, and nothing on the site is behind a payment.
Chipping in
There is a tip jar on Ko-fi. One off, any amount, no account here and no subscription anywhere.
You get nothing for it. There is no supporter badge, no ad free tier (there are no ads to remove), and no feature waiting behind a tier. Everything the site does, it does for everyone who turns up.
Other ways, all of them free
Honestly, these are worth more than the money:
- Report a bad match. Every result carries a quiet flag, and the reports become the test cases the next model is graded against. That loop is the only reason the matching gets better.
- Tell someone. The site lives or dies on people finding it, and it has no marketing budget at all.
- Come and argue in the Discord. Several of the things the site does exist because somebody said the old version was wrong.
Where the money does not come from
For completeness, since a free site always raises the question. There are no ads and no trackers, and nothing about your visits is sold. If a shop link ever appears on the precon pages it will be an affiliate link and it will say so, right there on the page. Card search will carry nothing either way: the price sort is only useful if it is honest about which card is cheaper, so nothing is ever allowed to pay its way up a result list.
